Ton tuto est trés bien, merci pour tout, mais je ne peux faire fonctionner mon bigsat sans le firmware à jour...si quelqu'un l'a ce serait bien, merci !

I have DSR5000SLIM but a haven,t remote control. I can,t turn on code edit on menu. Can somebody send mi ir codes from remote control? For example recorded by nr deluxe or something simillar. And I am sorry for my English.

1- About Upgrading ( tools and precautions )

these receivers are really sensetive, sort to say
you must be carreful while flashing otherwise, " led rouge " :D

to upgrade these receivers, use Uptoolb34 or Upgrade3.4, it depends on the firmware
for 2097152 bytes use Uptoolb34
if 2097396 bytes use Upgrade3.4

*** Upgrade3.4 tutorial ***

to upgrade using this tool :
1- put your receiver on standby mode
2- execute Upgrade3.4
3- click on Setup com
4- click on Software Upgrade, chose the firmware, then turn on your receiver
wait untill it's done, Enjoy
( same thing for Key upgrade )
do not forget upgrade3.4 is used only when the firmware is 2097152 bytes

ps : in order to prevent audio problems, configure َaudio settings by switching audio mode ( A or B ) it depends on the firmware ( Audio A, or Audio B )

2- Channels list ( Data ) Editing

to edit, import or export channel list, we usually use
Channel_edit.exe, but we can also use Upgrade3.4
but it's easier using channel_edit.exe

3- About Uptool21

similar to upgrade3.4, but mostly used to change Boot
i recommand newbies to not perform this dangerous stunt

in order to get the Edit key icon, on your Menu

if you have upgraded your receiver with an Echostar 900 firmware, then it becomes :
