Liberty Global holds 96.5% of Swiss operator Sunrise

Liberty Global has announced that 43,670,149 Sunrise shares have been tendered, corresponding to 96.48% of the fully diluted share capital of Sunrise.

Closing offer conditions remain ahead, including regulatory approvals. After it settles, Liberty Global intends to start a squeeze-out and get Sunrise’s shares delisted from the Swiss Exchange.

It’s expecting settlement on November 11, after a November 9 extraordinary meeting of Sunrise shareholders.
