Canal+ Polska secures channel licence

Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has awarded Canal+ Polska a licence to operate a new thematic channel.

Known as Canal+ Domo, it will show documentary and entertainment-based programming and be on air for at least 12 hours daily.

There is as yet no indication as to when Canal+ Polska, which started an IPO earlier this week, will launch the channel.

Its portfolio already includes several thematic channels, most of which use the Canal+ brand.
