Media Player with Picture Viewer inside

Plugins For Enigma²Code:
this is the original mediaplayer of Einigma 2.5 with two interestent extensions.

1. The viewing of the MP3 tags works no fine.

2. The media player has now a picture viewer inside

Why a picture viewer inside the media player ?

1. You can look your pictures without any sound.

2. You can play audio files from your playlist and look some
pictures on the same time.

Systemrequireries:
1. A Enigma 2.5 based image.
2. The webcamview plugin.
3. You must remove the original media player

Normaly reoving the original media player und installing the
webcamview plugin would the ipkg-package be done.

Installation:
1. Copy the mediaplayer_1.0_mipsel.ipk file to /tmp
2. Login with telnet
3. ipkg install /tmp/mediaplayer_1.0_mipsel.ipk
4. killall -9 enigma2

Manual:
1. You can configure the PictureViewer inside the
MediaPlayer with menu key -> slideshow setup.

2. To view one or more pictures select a JPG-,BMP-,PNG-,GIF-file
and push Ok-Key.

3. To play a playlist of audiofiles and look one or more pictures at
the same time load or create a playlist and then change to filelist,
select a picture file like point 2.

Scaricamento e visualizzazione dell'epg Sky ITA
via satellite (salvataggio dati su HDD, CF o USB)

PLUGIN PUBBLICO PER TUTTE LE IMMAGINI ENIGMA2

* Finestra eventi EPG totalmente riscritta

* Selezione dei canali da scaricare direttamente dalla GUI con il tasto ROSSO

* Visualizzazione in automatico dell'epg settimanale del canale sintonizzato
(visualizzazione immediata con pressione lunga del tasto BLU durante la
visione - opzione disponibile solo se installato su immagine LS)

* AUTO-DOWNLOAD dell'EPG a un orario prestabilito (nella finestra Config
di OpenEPG - opzione disponibile solo se installato su immagine LS)

* Visualizzazione del LOG file direttamente da GUI (tasto giallo "log")
Al termine di ogni download viene salvato un file /tmp/lastdownload.log
che contiene orari di inizio e fine e risultato dello scaricamento EPG.

* Visualizzazione immediata dell'epg settimanale per il canale corrente,
premendo il tasto BLU (pressione LUNGA), con la stessa immediatezza
dell'EPG integrata in Enigma2 (opzione attiva solo nelle immagini LS)

* Nella finestra dettaglio Descrizioni, ora si può velocemente navigare
attraverso gli eventi di tutta l'EPG settimanale premendo i tasti DESTRO
e SINISTRO del telecomando (visualizzazione del dettaglio di tutti gli eventi,
ed eventuale programmazione Timer, senza tornare alla lista, molto comodo)

* Aggiunta funzione "ZAP" con il tasto ROSSO, per cambiare velocemente
sul canale listato in EPG direttamente da OpenEPG

* Ora incorpora lo stesso loader della versione Enigma1, cioè con ridottissimo
consumo di memoria ram e con la possibilit�* di scegliere i canali da scaricare
(direttamente dalla GUI)

OpenEPG NON richiede l'attivazione dello swap file, neanche se si selezionano
tutti i 400 e passa canali: i dati scaricati NON occupano infatti memoria ram
(nonostante la consultazione sia veloce come per l'EPG nativa di Enigma2),
ma risiedono sulla device selezionata.

1) Prerequisites

During the installation there has to be CF
card in the Dreambox (attention: insert or remove
into Dreambox 7025 cardreader only when Dreambox
is turned off), or an USB stick which is successfully
detected (in case of problems try an USB Hub).

If Barry Allen on USB is used then put
the CVS Image from OoZooN in Flash, because this image
has the USB drivers permanently built into the kernel.

If neither CF card not USB Stick are attached then
installation takes place on the Harddisk. Because
the images then also run from there it will run
permanently and it could be necessary that you disable
Harddisk Standby in the images to allow running Barry
Allen stable from Harddisk.


2) Installation

First boot from Flash and then copy the file
enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk
to /tmp with ftp (TCP/IP must be working already).

If you have an image in Flash that offers a Blue
Pannel Manual Addon Install, then you can use this
functionality to install the ipk file.

If not, then install Barry Allen by entering the
following commands in a Telnet session:

cd /
ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk

Then restart enigma2 and the Barry Allen Plugin
shoudl show up under Games / Plugins.

In the Images installed by Barry Allen you don't have
to install the Barry Allen Plugin anymore.
The Barry Allen Plugin integrates himself into then
automatically during the image extract.

And you can remove Barry Allen if you are booted
from Flash:

ipkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen

3) Usage

There is now the enigma2 Plugin of Barry Allen included
under Games / Plugins of the enigma2 menu,
which offers the full functionality of Barry Allen.

For extracting of nfi images in Barry Allen copy the
image files to /MB_Images (normally a link to
/media/hdd/MB_Images created during Barry Allen
installation)

If there are Problems with image extraction or other tasks
with the enigma2 plugin try doing it in telnet:

cd /media/ba
ba.sh extract nameoftheimage

On the next reboot this new Image should be available
in the bootmanager for choosing to boot it and then it
can be customized and used as usual.

The Bootmanager now should remember the last booted
image and hence recordings from Deepstandby should work
now.

EPG Evolution

This is a plugin to dreambox with enigma1 for advanced epg functions. Instead of using the DVB EPG it downloads the EPG from a webserver giving you a alternative source for EPG.
The benefit is 7 days EPG, a easy overviewed gui and alot of smart functions one button away...


Installation:

Copy extepg.so and extepg.cfg to the plugin dir on your dreambox (/var/tuxbox/plugins/)
If you have a DM500 copy the remote.xml to /var/etc/epg/ to use < and > instead of the Bouquet buttons

To make the plugin start with the red button instead of the normal epg press red button(epg) twice and select External EPG.

* was ist dreamIRC?
dreamIRC ist ein IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client für enigma2.

* gut.. und was mache ich damit?
chatten... smile für alle die nicht wissen was IRC ist, lest euch das da mal durch -> KLICK MICH

* brauche ich eine dream tastatur?
sagen wir es so: von vorteil wäre eine tastatur (egal ob dream oder USB) schon... aber zur not geht es auch mit der fernbedienung (sms style rulez) großes Grinsen

* gehen alle IRC funkionen (msg/kick/ban/op usw..)??
dreamIRC ist z.Z eher als "proof of concept" anzusehen, statt als vollwertiger IRC client.. so fehlt zum beispiel noch der befehlsparser um diese funktionen umzusetzten.

* kann ich auf mehrere server/channels connecten?

* kann ich auf server connecten die evt ein passwd benötigen (z.B freenode oder bouncer)?

* muss das dreamIRC plugin immer offen sein um nachrichten zu empfangen?
nein.. wenn ihr mal connected seid könnt ihr mit dem "exit" knopf auf der fernbedienung aus dem plugin rausgehen und die verbindung bleibt bis zum disconnect oder box reboot bestehen. so könnt ihr einfach später wieder das plugin starten und lesen was alles passiert ist smile

* kann ich nach dem installieren direkt connecten und loschatten?
von der theorie her ja, aber: ändert bitte in den settings bzw der account.xml die einstellungen (server, channel, nickname) auf die von euch gewünschten werte ab.. besser ist das, grad auch wegen dem nickname..

* twisted words... hey cool das unterstützt doch auch IQC, MSN und JABBER.. wird das auch irgendwann gehen?
von der struktur her ist dreamIRC schon modular aufgebaut, so dass diese funktionen in einer späteren funktion durchaus denkbar wären.

* muss ich noch andere pakete installieren?
dreamIRC basiert auf dem twisted framework und nutzt teile aus twisted words. damit die depencys aber nicht so gross sind und damit das ganze auch auf der 7025 funktioniert habe ich diese mal included, so dass nur dieses eine ipkg installiert werden muss.
