Discovery Deutschland signs MagentaTV agreement

Discovery Deutschland and Deutsche Telekom have extended their distribution agreement on the MagentaTV.

It means MagentaTV customers will continue to receive the SD and HD versions of free-to-air channels DMAX, TLC and Eurosport 1. In addition to the SD version, Home & Garden TV will now also be available in the HD format.

Customers who upgrade to the BigTV package will also be able to receive Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Eurosport 2 in both SD and HD. PVR recordings, restart and catch-up TV is also available.

There are also plans for some content to be made available in Ultra High Definition.
