Canal+ launches Ligue 1 streaming channel

Canal+ has launched a new channel dedicated to coverage of Ligue 1 football.

Canal+ Ligue 1 was added to the myCANAL platform after the operator secured rights to French top-flight football in the wake of the Mediapro debacle. It’s available to all subscribers of the sport pack.

The operator said Canal+ Ligue 1 was designed as a “Superhub” for the national championship and would feature all available content from the league including live and recorded matches, features and reports.

Live matches will also benefit from live statistics, rankings and a live blog.
