Challenging year for Hrvatski Telekom

Hrvatski Telekom (HT) ended 20202 with 516,000 TV subscribers in its home market, Croatia.

This, according to the company in its latest set of results, was 5.2% more than a year earlier.

However, TV ARPU was slightly down (-0.7%) at HRK85 (€11.2) over the same period.

Meanwhile, HT’s subsidiary in Montenegro saw its TV subscriber total remain virtually unchanged (-0.3%) at 71,000 in 2020.

HT Group as a whole had revenues of HRK7,458 million in 2020, down 3.2% on a year earlier. EBITDA after exceptional items was HRK3,042 million (-3.7%) and net profit HRK588 (-20.5%).

In Croatia, broadband and TV revenues in 2020 amounted to HRK1,377 million, a 4% increase on a year earlier.

Broadband and TV revenues also increased in Montenegro, up 1.8% to HRK118 million.
