Canal+ Family to be dropped from August 30

Canal+ is removing the Canal+ Family channel from its packages as of August 30.

The French pay-TV platform has previously announced plans for two new channels, Canal+ Docs and Canal+ Kids channels.

The timeline coincides with the start of the new school year.

Canal+ Docs and Canal+ Kids have already been given approval for their launch by regulatoe CSA, though no further details have been released.
