Brideshead Revisited remastered in 4K for BritBox US

The US feed of BritBox is to release a 4K remastered version of Brideshead Revisited.

The new edition will be available to stream from October 12, in parallel with the 40th anniversary of the classic ITV series.

Jeremy Irons and Anthony Andrews star in the adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s 1945 novel. Taking place from the 1920s to the early 1940s, this seminal story follows the life and romances of protagonist Charles Ryder.

A spokesperson for BritBox told Broadband TV News there were no immediate plans to make Brideshead available in the UK.
