András Koltay to head Hungarian regulator

András Koltay has been appointed the president of Hungary’s National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH).

His term in office began on December 4 and will be for a period of nine years.

Koltay was appointed by President János Áder on the proposal of PM Viktor Orbán.

He was previously a member of the Media Council from 2010-2019.
