ViacomCBS agreement brings new shows to Ziggo Movies & Series

Dutch cablenet Ziggo has signed a new agreement with ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. It brings film classics from Paramount Pictures as well as popular series from Showtime and CBS Studios such as Ray Donovan and Dexter, new and exclusive series such as American Rust and exclusive seasons of City on a Hill and Evil.

The content will form the backbone of a 2022 refresh for the operator’s Movies & Series L and XL packages. Evil is of particular interest with the lead role taken by Dutch actress Katja Herbers.

In addition, the Movies & Series XL package offers a host of other content. Customers can watch 40+ additional TV channels, including BBC Entertainment, Comedy Central Extra, National Geographic WILD, MTV 90s and many other music and children’s channels.

Some of HBO’s top series, which are currently part of Movies & Series (X)L, will remain available through 2022, including Mare of Easttown, The White Lotus and the third season of Succession.
