Hungarian state to buy Magyar Telekom asset

Magyar Telekom’s subsidiary T-Systems has agreed to sell Pan-Inform to the Hungarian state for up to HUF5.5 billion.

According to Portfolio, the transaction is expected to close in Q1 2022.

Pan-Inform is part of T-Systems and undertakes activities related to healthcare services in Hungary.

Magyar Telekom will also continue to provide such services following the transaction.
