Movistar+ secures NHL rights

Telefónica’s Movistar+ has obtained the NHL broadcasting rights for Spain.

According to the platform, it has reached an agreement for the rights for the next few seasons and will start broadcasting games from this week, with one on Tuesday January 11 and one on Thursday, January 14 on Movistar Desportes.

Movistar+ already has agreements in place with, amongst others, LaLiga, UEFA, DAZN, Discovery and Eurosport.
