Upgrading problem in EL-3020IR Plus

i use the cross cable and i use it for EL 700 & super and Metabox 3 ..I know some STB use diffrent cables ...i m proffesional my dear

Have same problem with EL-3020 super.
Tried all the options, STB simply won't connect to the computer.
When you prss connect and switch power on, the STB will simply continue booting.
Has anybody found a solution.

hi mate,
pc isnt recognising stb,seems you have wrong com port,
try use com 2,com3,etc,

PC is ok, like I said have no problem updating other STBs, just this particular one. But found this, will need an other STB same model.

Connect other STB with the same model using Null modem RS232 cable
1- the master STB in standby mode
2- the slave STB off from the back switch
3- press 963 using remote control then switch on the slave STB to transfer the the channels list & software when the slave display come END switch off the slave from the back and disconnect the cable.

4- press 123 to transfer the channels list only

Hope this solves problem to other users.
