The Slovenian broadcasters Pop TV and Kanal A have filed a lawsuit demanding €58 million from Telekom Slovenija.

According to N1, they saw that the telco, which is majority state-owned, underpaid them by this amount over five years.

It adds that the action is a response to a lawsuit filed by Telekom Slovenije which says that it paid the broadcasters €12 million too much. Telekom Slovenija will now respond to the counterclaim.

The telco is expected to pay €2.85 per month per connection for Pop TV and Kanal A, which are owned by Pro Plus.

However, according to unofficial information, it pays more for both Nova24TV (€0.60 per month per connection) and Prop Plus channels than other operators.

In Telekom Slovenije’s view, a fairer price for the Pro Plus channels would be €1.7 a month per connection.
