Telefónica sells shares in Prisa

Telefónica has agreed to sell a 7.08% stake in the media group Prisa to the Spanish firm Global Alconaba.

Following the transaction, which according to Reuters is valued at €34 million, the telco will retain 1.95% in Prisa.

It adds that the main shareholder in Prisa remains Amber Capital (29.84%), with Vivendi owning 9.94%.
