Türksat grows by nearly a third

Türksat ended last year 1,331,000 subscribers to its cable TV services.

This, according to the company in its newly published annual report, was up from 1,285,000 a year earlier.

Meanwhile, the number of Kablonet subscribers increased from 1,117,000 to 1,183,000 million over the same period.

Türksat had net sales of TL3.43 billion (€194 million) and EBITDA of TL1.375 billion in 2021. Its net profit rose by more than 106% to TL1.650 billion.

Its revenues increased by 6.8%, cable revenues by 26.9% and IT revenues by 33.9% on an annual basis.

All told, it grew by 21.9% in 2021.

The company invested more than TL3 billion in 2021, of which TL495.1 million was allocated to fixed-line internet infrastructure.
