M6 Groupe renews The True Story Of Angelina Jolie

French production and distribution company Prime Entertainment Group has renewed its deal with major French network M6 Groupe for popular biographical documentary The True Story of Angelina Jolie to air on channel Paris Premiere.

Prime ANgelina Jolie 21Oct2022The 1x52’ series chronicles the life of the Hollywood icon, accentuated through archival footage, unique interviews and unseen segments of the icon’s rise to fame. With the help of experts and acquaintances, this documentary is an look at her philanthropy as well as the ups and downs that have marked her career and how she came to be one of the most acclaimed and beloved actresses of our time. The documentary has garnered international take-up on multiple channels, such as Germany’s ZDF, SKY New Zealand, and South Africa’s M-Net among others.

Also known as Metropole Television, M6 Groupe is the most profitable private national French television channel and the third most watched television network in the French-speaking world, owned by RTL Groupe. Paris Premiere is a high-end TV channel that focuses primarily on cultural content.

Paris Premiere has previously collaborated with Prime, securing major biographical documentaries such as Drawing the Line: A Portrait of Keith Haring (1x28’), The Secret Album of Clint Eastwood (1x70’), and their most recent deal of the award-winning cinematic documentary, Monsters, The Enemy Within (1 x 56’) that explores the lore, legends and production of Hollywood Horror.
