Spain takes to FTTH

The number of active FTTH lines in Spain amounted to 13.5 million in September, or 1 million more than in the same month last year.

In September alone, according to the latest figures published by the regulator CNMC, 118,094 were added to the total. Meanwhile, the number of DSL lines fell buy 0.4 million in the year to September.

In the fixed sector as a whole, Movistar, Orange (including Jazztel) and Vodafone (including Ono) accountred for 76.7% of lines as of this September.
