5400z: which patch to upload?

Hi to all, my father-in-law has bought a humax 5400z.
Now there is a problem: it seems serial-opened, so I can patch it but with which kind of patch?
For my 5400 old there are no problems, for this new one have to use the patches 5400z plus or normally used with old 5400?

Well it depends if your Humax is 5400z plus and if your humax is not locked i.e you can uplodad and download firmware if it is locked you have to JTAG it or do the Zboard Operation to clear your flash
Make sure the reciver recieved the correct firmware with right system ID list is shown below

OAK-II, MK2 tuner. System-ID 00xx.0200 ( L2.08 boot loader)
• OAK-II, MK3 tuner. System-ID 00xx.0600 ( H2.08 boot loader)
• OAK-I, MK2 tuner. System-ID 00xx.0000 ( L1.37 boot loader)
• OAK-I, MK3 tuner. System-ID 00xx.0400 ( H1.37 boot loader)
• OAK-II, SD1278 LVA-3 tuner. System-ID 0016.0100 ( H2.08/H2.19 boot loader) (This is the last 5400Z+)

we never try to change the loader!!!!!! don't even try it you will damage your humax!!!!! for excample mine has the H2.08 this can not change._
