Sorry for the d*mbass question, but I have searched to no avail!
Ive just got an EL-777FTA, and setup the dish to point towards hotbird. What can I expect from this setup? Ive downloaded what I think is the newest firmware, but I dont seem to be able to see many good channels?
Any help much appreciated,

Sorry, what I meant was, Ive loaded the latest firmware for the EL777FTA from this site, and whilst I can see all the channels they are scrambled. I was hoping I would be able to see premiership football etc, but all but the FTA channels are scrambled still. I was under the impression using the firmware available on most forums, as long as it was the latest one at least some of the channels would be unscrambled?
What channels should be unscrambled?

Try pressing menu then 2020 this turns on or off the cas system. Also press menu then 2121 this turns on or off the autoroll, autoupdate feature. Good luck.
Do I want CAS off or on, and do I want autoupdate off or on?

You would be better off pointing your dish to Astra 19e For Premiership Footy There you can watch the Premier TV package or for the best sollution get yourself a MonoBlock LNB and replace the single you have. This will give you both Hotbird and Astra :) Try and find an enthusiast near you to save you money on fitting.
