Discovery expands in Ukraine

Ukraine’s largest cable operator Volia has added Discovery channels to its line-up.

According to the company, they have been available to its subscribers since the beginning of this month.

At the same time, it has announced that it is no longer offering a number of TV channels as they are no longer on those allowed to be distributed in the country. They include Bollywood HD, Playboy TV, Gulli, TiJi, CNL TV, Museum, MY Zen TV and TRT World.

Also, according to an agreement with the rights holders, it is no longer showing Channel 4.

Volia’s offer includes Cine+ film channels, while its online service Volia TV provides viewers with over 20,000 films, series and shows.
