Erik Huggers, a member of the supervisory board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media, has decided to step down from his mandate after nine years as of June 30.

As PPF Group’s share of voting rights now amounts to 11.6% of the share capital of ProSiebenSat.1 Media and it also holds financial instruments that correspond to 3.43% of the shares, ProSiebenSat.1 Media has proposed that Klara Brachtlova succeeds Erik Huggers.

Brachtlova is chief external affairs of Central European Media Enterprises (CME), which belongs to the Czech PPF Group, and has many years of experience as a media manager. She was co-CEO and CFO of TV Nova and, as executive director of Nova TV, was recently responsible for the digital streaming platform Voyo in the Czech market.

Brachtlova is also a proven financial expert as an auditor and tax advisor, as well as a member of the ACCA.

She said: “I am honoured by the nomination to join the supervisory board of ProSiebenSat.1, one of Germany’s major media companies. I believe that my 15 years of experience and proven ability to deliver growth and value at CME’s market-leading TV Nova, together with my deep understanding of commercial broadcasting, digital media, finance, and audit, will be of benefit to the supervisory board and will ultimately provide value to all ProSiebenSat.1 stakeholders”.
