Vivacom overtakes Bulsatcom in Bulgaria

United Group’s Vivacom is now the leading provider of pay-TV services in Bulgaria in terms of subscriber numbers.

Quoting a draft of the latest annual report of the Commission for the Regulation of Communications (CRC), Capital adds that it has overtaken Bulsatcom, the long-time holder of the top spot.

Meanwhile, A1 Bulgaria accounted for the most pay-TV revenues.

Growth in Bulgaria’s pay-TV market was driven by increases in IPTV (18%) and cable (1.9%) revenues.
