The Turkish incumbent Türk Telekom ended the second quarter with a total of 2.9 million subscribers to its TV services.

According to the company’s latest results, this was barely changed on the same period last year (+0.5%).

The Tivibu Home (IPTV+DTH) subscriber base stood at 1.4 million (-2.6% year-on-year), with minor gains in IPTV offset by minor losses in DTH.

TV ARPU in Q2 was TL33.1 (€1.12), or 40.9% more than a year earlier.

Türk Telekom’s consolidated revenues in Q2 amounted to TL17.9 billion, up 67.2% year-on-year, while its net loss was TL 601 million.

The telco notes that it invested TL7 billion in the first half of this year.
