Warner Bros. Discovery has introduced its first price rise for discovery+ in the U.S. and Canada since the service launched there in January 2021. The price of a new discovery+ ad-free monthly subscription in the U.S. has increased from $6.99 to $8.99.

The ad-lite subscription in the U.S. does not change and remains $4.99 per month. Applicable taxes must be added.
In Canada, the price of a new discovery+ ad-free monthly subscription has increased from $6.99 CAD to $8.99 CAD. The price of a new discovery+ ad-lite subscription changes from $4.99 CAD to $5.99 CAD.

The price increases took effect on October 3. Existing subscribers will see their monthly rate increase on their next billing cycle on or after November 2.
