Steady gains for Croatian pay-TV

Croatia ended the second quarter with a total of 932,187 subscribers to pay-TV services.
This, according to the regulator HAKOM, was 0.12% more than in the same period last year.
Almost half (487,109, up 1.89% on a year earlier) opt+9.67%) ed for IPTV, while cable accounted for 151,688 (-3.04%) and DTH 131,697 (-5.13%). Meanwhile, pay-DTT had 96,801 (-8.50%) subscribers.
Revenues from pay-TV services in Q2 amounted to €31,310,344, or 4.84% more than a year earlier.
IPTV accounted for €18,060,963 (+9.67%), while OTT services, though still claiming a moderate €903,365, were up 52.74% on a year earlier.
