Ten channels from TelevisaUnivision’s global streaming service, ViX, are being made available on Samsung TV Plus, the FAST and AVOD service. The channels are making their debut in the FAST/AVOD space, offering content spanning sports to novelas to U.S. viewers.

The new ViX channels add to existing Samsung TV Plus TelevisaUnivision offerings. Takashi Nakano, Senior Director of Content and Business Development at Samsung TV Plus, claims the Samsung FAST/AVOD offer is one of the leading destinations for Spanish language content.

“We value our marquee partners like TelevisaUnivision and are thrilled to expand our collaboration that brings even more programming to users that reflects the rich diversity of viewers,” he says.

The following channel line-up is now available to millions of Samsung TV Plus users in the U.S.: Noticias Univision 24/7, Zona TUDN, Rebelde, Cine de Oro, Aqui y Ahora, Cine de Retro, Galanes, Pequenos Gigantes, Como Dice El Dicho and Las 3 Marias. Existing TelevisaUnivision Samsung TV Plus offerings include Novelas de Romance, Villanos de Novela, JaJaJa and Grandes Parejas.

One of the first FAST platforms from a device manufacturer, Samsung TV Plus today boasts over 2,200 channels globally and thousands of shows and movies on-demand. The service reaches over 500 million devices globally across TV and mobile.
