Autentic and Terra Mater Studios to launch FAST Channel

German media company Autentic and Austrian film production company Terra Mater Studios are planning to set up a joint FAST Channel for nature and wildlife documentaries.

Terra Mater WILD will show productions from Terra Mater Studios as well as selected documentaries from third-party providers. The FAST Channel will be available on Samsung TV Plus in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from November 15, 2023. Distribution will then be successively expanded to other platforms.

Following the launch of five international and German-language FAST Channels, including Autentic History and Autentic Travel, Terra Mater WILD is the sixth channel in Autentic’s FAST Channel portfolio.

With the new service, Autentic, a joint venture of Patrick Hörl and Jan Mojto’s Beta Film, and Red Bull subsidiary Terra Mater Studios are expanding their partnership. Autentic Distribution has been distributing the Terra Mater Studios portfolio since the beginning of the year.
