waipu.tv introduces Dolby 5.1, subtitles and original language

German TV streaming service waipu.tv is now offering its viewers the option to stream selected programmes with Dolby Audio 5.1 sound.

Also new are films and series offered in the original language version and with subtitles if the respective TV channel provides these options.

If these options are available for a programme, they can be seen on the on-screen controls through a small speech bubble with text. This can be selected for individual setting options.

For several months, waipu.tv has been offering programmes in Full HD resolution (1080p50).
