Program to convert video from DB to AVI?

Hi!
I have a DB 600PVR (cable version)
And I'm woundering if it's a program out there that can download, and convert video from the DreamBox?

Last time I converted anything I first downloaded the files from the DB's hard drive, then converted it in Nero, (30 mins of film was about 20GB data), then I run it throu Windows movie maker (then the file was about 300MB)

if your files is a .ts file you can use divx convert

I think it's .ts, but not 100% sure, it's about one year since last time i've converted anything from the DB.
