The forum will definately be backup and running by 3pm GMT Saturday 24th. If members have registered within the last 2 weeks, a minority may need to re-register as some of the database may have been lost. It will take a few days to sort out minor bugs and to ensure that all the latest files are there for you to download but normal service will certainly be back with a bang.
The donators and news sections will have plenty to keep you involved and provide hours of reading material and I have it on good authority that members with access to the Backstage pass section will have plenty to keep their trembling hands occupied.
Keep an eye out for a mass email from JKF which will be sent as soon as the forum is opened.B-)

Right...first of all thanks for all the well wishes I have recieved over the last few days...I'm still around and so is the site...just a few security issues that need to be worked out between my host and I.

Now what happened....

I have 2 theories...one....it was an inside job done solely out of spite either to send a message or to prove a point...either way it was petty and no point was provedX-( If this is the case then it was someone very close to me:-?

Now...for the second theory and this is the one I am leaning towards....some days ago I asked our host to upgrade PHP but what no one knew or told me was the latest version of PHP was not compatible with the version of forum software we use. It was too late and even though our host tried to absolve the situation by restoring the old version of PHP...damage had been done...one fallout was trying to access the site and being asked to save php files to your hardrive...this I had been warned about but till it was too late failed to see the seriousness of it...also because I had been told the problem had gone away....obviously it did not and someone with the right php or config files could of gotten access to our server...still not a 100% certain with this theory as certain information would of needed to be obtained which only a few people had.

What ever the cause I am still investigating with our host and we should know more at a later date...

That's it...be patient and we will be up soon...pesky mosquito's don't bother me much...but betrayal bothers me far more>-D
