As you might know I recently secured our upload center by building in a filter script.
Our filter script checks every file while uploading.
The filter script remove all zip files containing one of the forbidden extensions to protect our members from downloading dangerous files.
To really block all dangerous files, compressed files within a zip file are also removed.
If you upload a zip file containing on of the below forbidden extensions you will get the error message "Error: The file you've uploaded contained a potentially dangerous file >filename< and has been rejected by our filter!"
If you get this error, please remove the "potentially dangerous file" from your zip archive and re-upload it.
Additionaly "exe" and "msi" are blocked if the filesize is below 120KB7z ade adp ace arj asf asx avi bas bat bz2 cab chm cmd com cpl crt gz hlp hta htt inf ins iso isp jar js jse lnk lzh mdb mde mdt mdw mdz mp3 mov mpeg mpg msc msp mst pcd pif pl pm qt rar reg scf scr sct shb shs tar tgz url uue vb vbe vbs wmv ws wsc wsf wsh z zip
The maximum filesize for any archive is 2MB
