Reception issues with Unicable II and H-H motorized setup

    Hello,
I am writing here in the hope that somebody already had this problem and can guide me in the right direction.
    - I have a setup where I have on the roof a motorized H-H dish (Stab 120) and az Inverto Unicable II LNB.
    - From the roof I have only one coaxial cable coming down where I have an Inverto power inserter and a splitter that splits the signal into the 2 rooms.
    - In one room I have a tvheadend server with Sundtek tuners, in the other room I have an Enigma2 Box (octagon sf8008).
    - Usually I am using the Enigma box for viewing tv, but when I am abroad, I am using tvheadend for remote view (via Kodi).
    - I have verified and I am using the correct SCR frequencies for the LNB, SCR1 for Enigma box, SCR 4 for tvheadend)

    Now here comes the problem:
Periodically neither the boxes lock, even if the dish in in the right position. Sometimes i am getting 0% signal, sometimes it jumps every second betweeen 80-90% and 0%. If I select another satellite, and back, at some point it locks (I can observe the dish with a camera and it won't move).
When it locks the signal is strong (80-90%).

    What I have tried:
    - Changed the cable with a very high quality one
    - Changed the splitter
    - Changed the power inserter
    - The motor always work if I command it from the roof via a Diseqc motor control (Stab has one of these: https://www.pulsat.com/products/stab...generator.html)
    - Inserted a +20db inline signal amplfiier

For me it looks like the signal does not always reach the H-H motor or the Unicable LNB and the SCR frequency is not correctly selected. It can either be a timing issue for Diseqc or the 22Khz signal is somehow disturbed until it reaches the destination. I have serached if there are any diseqc signal amplifiers but could not find one.

Sometimes, the whole system just works, without issues for weeks, than suddenly it stops working. Sometimes some of the channels do lock and in the same time, I see the signal toggling between 80-90 and 0% and does not locks. Again, I think it's because the LNB did not correctly select the proper SCR frequency.

Any help would be appreciated. I am struggling with this for months.

Your best solution is to buy a unicable LNB with legacy ports and have a dedicated feed to the motor. It means an extra cable but worth it.

This is why I bought the unicable LNB, as there is only one cable running to the roof. As the house is already finished, there is no possibility to run any additional cables to the roof.

@trex_daemon, did you consider on what polarization you issued command to the motor?
Diseqc command is on the dc voltage superimposed with 22kHz modulated signal, if your Unicable dc inserter is giving 17-19V, diseqc command will never reach motor (if it is issued for vertical polarization, than voltage is 12-14V). I have in my mind that Unicable inserter is before the motor (looking from the receiver side). Maybe it is good idea to put the inserter behind the motor.
