M3u edit to enigma 2 converter
Manual:
1. Loading and Editing the List
Note: Always perform your edits before converting the list!
Loading: Click "Load m3u data" and select your .m3u playlist file.
Selecting Items:
Double-click (LMB) on a channel or category to highlight it in green (select).
Double-click (LMB) on a highlighted item again to deselect it.
Tip: You can use the "Select all" or "Deselect all" buttons. For very long lists, it is often easier to "Select all" and then deselect only the items you want to keep. After choosing the unwanted items, click "Delete selected [X]".
Saving Changes: Click "Save to m3u" to save your modified list in the .m3u format.
Reordering: Select a channel, category, or group and use the ▲ MOVE UP / ▼ DOWN buttons to change their position on the list.
Deleting: * Select unwanted elements and click "Delete selected [X]".
Alternatively, Right-click (RMB) on a channel/category and select "Delete" from the context menu.
2. Cut and Paste Functions (Context Menu)
The program features an advanced clipboard system:
Right-click (RMB) on a selected channel, category, or an entire group (to select a group: LMB + Shift).
Select "Cut" to move the items into the buffer.
Right-click (RMB) on a different location and select "Paste here" to move the items to that spot.
3. Converting to Enigma2
To prepare a list for your satellite receiver:
Load your .m3u list.
Enter the IP address of your receiver in the field at the top (default: 192.168.1.4).
Click "Convert to enigma2". The program will process the data in its memory.
Click "Save as..." to export the ready file (default .txt), which can then be uploaded to your receiver.
Simple Workflow for Enigma2:
Using your receiver, create a new folder (bouquet) and name it, for example, TEST.
Download the current channel list from your receiver to your PC; it should contain a file named userbouquet.TEST.tv.
Run HPL Converter, load your m3u list, and click "Convert to enigma2".
Click "Save as..." and select (overwrite) the file userbouquet.TEST.tv.
Reload the channel list into your bouquet editing software and upload it back to the receiver.
Done! Your TEST bouquet now contains the channels from your m3u list.
Note: Do not create lists that are too large, as the receiver may slow down.
You can create multiple bouquets this way (e.g., one for Sports, one for Movies, etc.).
4. Additional Options
Progress Bar: Located at the bottom, useful when working with very large lists.
Language Change: Use the button in the top-right corner to instantly switch the interface between Polish and English.
