My laptop does not have rs232 is there a way to upgrade it with a laptop and what do i need to do so? Thank You

Thank you pola0 for your great help but i have one more question.HDF smart suite has an option up to com 4 on my laptop it doesnt have such com it starts from com 7 to com22, which com do i choose for updating with my laptop? Thank You
