CiefpTvTodayDE
CiefpTvTodayDE is an Enigma2 plugin for displaying EPG (Electronic Program Guide) data for TV channels,
customized for users in Germany. The plugin downloads EPG data from epgshare01.online,
caches it locally and displays the programs for each channel, along with the corresponding pictograms (channel logos).
The interface allows easy browsing of channels and their programs, with focus on the current or next program.
Display of a list of channels and their EPG data (time, title, category, description).
Automatic downloading and caching of EPG data (24-hour cache).
Display of pictograms for channels, with fallback to a placeholder pictogram if a pictogram is missing.
Intuitive interface with a selection bar that automatically marks the current or next program.
Support for navigation using the OK, UP, DOWN and EXIT keys.
Logging only critical errors and missing pictograms in /tmp/ciefp_epgshare.log.
Interface Navigation:
Channel List: Located on the left side of the screen. Use the UP or DOWN key to scroll through the channel list.
EPG Data: Displayed on the right side of the screen for the selected channel, including time, title, category, and program description.
Selection Bar: Automatically highlights the current program (if available) or the next program for the selected day.
If there are no programs for the current day, it highlights the last available program.
Icons and Logos: The icon of the selected channel is displayed at the bottom of the screen (left). If the icon is missing, placeholder.png is used.
Controls:
OK: Toggles focus between the channel list and EPG data. When the focus is on channels, it selects a channel; when it is on EPG data, it allows scrolling through programs.
UP/DOWN: Moves the cursor through the channel list (when the focus is on channels) or through EPG programs (when the focus is on EPG data).
EXIT: Closes the plugin and returns you to the previous screen.
