The next DVB Project annual conference will be held in Amsterdam on 17 and 18 March 2026, the Geneva-based organisation has announced.

The event will continue with the successful unconference format, which has garnered positive feedback within the DVB community since its introduction in 2022.

For DVB World 2026, the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre, situated in the southeast of Amsterdam, has been selected as the venue. This location offers excellent connectivity to both the central train station and the airport. Following recent editions in Munich and Brussels, the organizers have chosen another strategic and accessible city. Amsterdam’s reputation as a centre for the media industry is well established, notably due to the annual IBC exhibition and conference.

The Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre provides a modern and adaptable environment, well suited to DVB World’s blend of conference sessions, unconference activities, and exhibitions.

Since adopting a participative approach after the COVID pandemic, DVB World has seen significant growth. The format – a half-day conference combined with a full day of participant-driven “open space” sessions – has been highly valued by previous attendees for its balance of structured presentations and dynamic discussions. This framework enables both in-depth exploration and spontaneous engagement on a wide array of topics.

DVB leadership continues to recognise the importance of this annual gathering as a vital source of new initiatives and inspiration for the organization’s ongoing work. For example, the DVB-I Implementers Task Force was formed as a direct result of discussions held during last year’s event in Munich.
