Which software for diablo cam

hello

I am considering getting one of these diablo light 2.3 cams.
It says it comes with either stealth or underworld.

Are either of these better than each other, is one more reliable or somethin , is there much difference ??

Stealth is the official software for the Diablo.
Underworld does open more channels than the stealth, conax on Thor1W and on 16E

My understandng is that Underworld only works on Diablo Rev. 2.3 and **NOT** Rev. 2.2, Diablo Rev 2.3 is still fairly ~newish~ (the fist I've heard about it was perhaps a Month - Month and-a-half ago. So those visiting this Board most likely (like myself), will have the older Rev. 2.2 version.

I've seen a thead that mentions a €30.00(EUR) update (Credit Card ONLY), for those with the older Rev 2.2 CAMS to REV 2.3, having seen some shops list the newer Rev 2.3 CAM for like ~€20.00(EUR) (or so) over the price of the standard Rev. 2.2 CAM, there seems to be little difference Hardware wise between these two revisions. So it's likely that the "update" is all that is needed.

I havn't had a chance to test DigitalALB @ 16.0°E yet perhaps later after I watch Dr.Who (BBC3) on 28.5°E, but, again my understanding is that you have to have a Rev 2.3 to open Conax, although some others have clamed that you could use the older Rev 2.2 aswell we'll see.

As for 0.8°w I'm not sure I can hit that Bird from my location anyhow...

Thanks for the replies. i have gone ahead and ordered the 2.3 one, it is £ 30 more expensive than the 2.2 but saves me havin to mess round with it whilst i am new to them. will get a cas 3 programmer in the future.

The 2.3 version opens conax on 1 W AND 16E when usind Underwold.
The 2.2 version can be upgrated at a cost on line or send it to a dealer

I have been a customer to Hisat for 13 years and i trust them fully.

You can choose to load Stealth or Underworld the Diablo accepts both.

I have recieved my cam today. is there any settings to do or just plug and play ?

I have noticed in the cas menu all the encryptions like seca, viaccess etc are all set to off, do i have turn turn these all on ?

what are these key updates for on the diablo cam ? I thought they where AU so no need for keys. Or is it only certain channels / packages that AU ?
