LG Electronics has partnered with Stingray Music to boost LG Radio+, the company’s free ad-supported audio service on LG Smart TVs running webOS 6.0 and above.
The rollout spans the United States, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and South Korea.
Radio+ now offers more than 200 themed music channels and curated playlists, alongside podcasts and live radio, accessible from the LG Content Store, Apps and Music Portal. Stingray’s catalogue brings region-specific line-ups — from UK Greatest Hits UK and Kids Hits UK to German Schlager and K-pop selections — with flagship channels updated weekly and major releases added on day one.
LG has refreshed the app UI with a side menu for Home, Music, On-Air and Podcasts, plus a dedicated favourites area for quick access. Audio features such as AI Sound Pro and Clear Voice Pro are supported on compatible TVs.
Jim Riley, president of Stingray Music USA, said the tie-up extends Stingray’s curation to LG’s global audience. Chris Jo, head of LG’s webOS Platform Business Center, said the partnership adds “a wealth of free content” as the company continues to enhance Radio+.
