SkyShowtime is introducing a new line-up of curated, on-demand streaming channels, bringing together some of its best-known series and franchises in a lean-back experience on the platform.

The feature is being rolled out first in Sweden from today, with other SkyShowtime territories due to follow next year. Subscribers on Standard with Ads, Standard and Premium plans will be able to access the channels at no extra cost.

The on demand channels will spotlight individual brands and series including Dexter, House, PAW Patrol, Star Trek and Yellowstone, alongside genre-based streams such as Comedy – featuring shows like Frasier and The Office – and Killers, showcasing titles including MobLand, The Day of the Jackal and Tulsa King.

SkyShowtime said the channels will run 24/7 and draw on its portfolio from Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, Showtime, Sky Studios, Peacock and SkyShowtime Originals.

CEO Monty Sarhan said the move was aimed at enhancing the user experience by offering “a different way of discovering and enjoying all the great content that SkyShowtime has to offer”, complementing its existing on-demand catalogue of films and series.
