Updated the plugin interface and added a button that allows stopping any hanging process without needing to restart the device.

Prevented unnecessary GUI restarts on PLi, OE-A, and DreamOS images.
The plugin now works efficiently on:
• Python 2.7 and Python 3.12
• PLi-based images (such as OpenPLi and OpenViX)
• OE-A images (such as OpenATV, OpenBH, and OpenEight)
• DreamOS images (such as Merlin and DreamElite)

This update was developed and finalized in collaboration with the talented developer Lululla, and it has been successfully tested on Dreambox and VU+ devices. It is fully compatible with Python 2 and Python 3, as well as with various EPG file formats.

Important Note:
You must remove any previous version of the plugin before installing the any new release.

For Gemini images, please avoid installing through gCommander.

To ensure a successful installation, it is recommended to use Telnet command based onr your image.

The plugin has been tested on Dreambox and VU+ devices, as well as on several images such as Gemini, Merlin, and OpenATV, with both Python 2 and Python 3.
A new source has been added inside the EPG plugin screen, along with some minor code improvements to enhance performance. A screenshot from the Gemini image is also attached.

I would like to remind you once again: any previous version of the plugin must be completely removed before installing the new version.

New update for the EPGImport plugin version 2.8

This update includes an important fix for an issue that occurred during the download and extraction of XZ files.
The problem related to downloading and decompressing .xz files has been resolved.
This issue appeared on Dreambox images due to limitations in certain Python 2.7 environments.
The handling mechanism for XZ files has been improved to ensure compatibility and stability during the EPG data import process.
Successfully tested on the following devices: Dream box receiver – Vu+ receiver
The update has been tested and confirmed working on the following images:
Merlin image
Gemini image
OpenATV image
OpenPLI image
I hope this update will contribute to improved stability and performance during the import of Electronic Program Guide (EPG) data.

Now we moved to version 3.0 ,

This release took a significant amount of time, as the plugin files that work on Dreambox do not work the same way on Open Source images. Therefore, I unified the files and implemented conditions, allowing the plugin to automatically detect the image type and Python version, and then select the most suitable configuration.

I have tested the plugin on Dreambox and Vu+ devices. I have not tested it on other devices, as I do not have access to them.
