My Favourite Teams — save up to 10 teams
A new Settings screen lets you pick teams from any supported soccer league. Teams are fetched live via the source API with a smart fallback for guaranteed loading. Your list saves and restores automatically on every reboot.

Favourite matches pinned to the top
Matches featuring your saved teams now float to the very top of the main screen. They're sorted smartly: live first, then scheduled, then finished. A also appears right next to the team name so you can spot them instantly.

Gold reminder toasts — 4 alerts per match
SimplySports automatically alerts you 1 day, 6 hours, 1 hour, and 15 minutes before kick-off. Each gold-accented popup shows team logos, the league, kick-off time, and a live countdown (like "in 1h" or "Tomorrow 20:45"). It stays on-screen for 15 seconds and plays Fav.mp3 so you hear it even if you're not watching. Fully deduped—no spam!

Custom goal sounds — pop1, pop2, pop3...
Goal alerts are fully customizable. Head to Settings → Goal Sound to see all pop*.mp3 files in the plugin folder. Check your favorite, hear an instant preview, or select "No Sound". Just drop a new mp3 into the folder and it auto-populates—zero code changes required.

EuroLeague time enhancements. Now the time of the match will be displayed at the local device time zone plus Notification enhancements.

Richer FEED screen — event info & satellite

The main feed now displays exactly what you need at a glance. Each event row shows the event description and broadcasting satellite name pulled straight from your EPG. Know exactly where to tune in without leaving the plugin.

I have launched a brand-new update packed with exciting features, massive improvements, and important fixes to make tracking your favorite sports easier than ever!

Here is everything new:

Instant Match Lineups and Substitutes

Want to know who is starting? Just highlight the match and press the 0 button on your remote! You will instantly see the starting players distributed on a virtual pitch. I have completely redesigned this screen with an elegant, semi-transparent glass look. In addition, I expanded the layout so you can now see the entire substitutes bench neatly arranged on the sides with their photos and shirt numbers!

Live Badges for Goals and Red Cards

When viewing the lineup, you will now see live icons next to the players! A red card will appear for sent-off players, and a soccer ball showing who scored goals. If a player scores multiple goals, you will see multiple balls arranged next to their name. I also updated the events timeline in the Game Info screen to replace the old text with these beautiful, clean icons next to the players' names.

Player photos (World Cup teams only)

Full 14-Day Match Schedule (use the <> buttons on the remote control to browse through the days).

You can now keep track of the schedules with ease! The new match schedule allows you to browse matches starting from 7 days in the past to review recent results, up to 7 days in the future to see upcoming games.

The Yellow Button is Now for Filtering Live Matches

The yellow button on your remote control has a brand-new function. It no longer changes the time format. Instead, just press the yellow button to instantly filter the screen and display only the matches playing live right now!

Full Arabic Translation

I have added Arabic translation for national teams! It is not just limited to formatting the days of the week and months beautifully in Arabic, but international team names have also been translated. You will see team names in Arabic everywhere: on the main screen, top and bottom bars, pop-up notifications, and the game info screen.

Lightning Fast Loading and Live Scores

I have completely rebuilt how matches load. Navigating between days is now incredibly smooth, and matches appear instantly without any screen freezing. Furthermore, live scores and match times now update perfectly in real-time on the main screen, even while browsing your custom leagues package!

Fresh Daily Backgrounds

I added more stunning World Cup backgrounds. The background image will now change automatically as you browse through different days of the week.

Accurate Late-Night and Tennis Schedules

Matches played late at night (up to 3:00 AM Baghdad time) will now correctly and reliably remain within their actual viewing day. Also, tennis schedules have been fixed to only show matches scheduled specifically for the day you are browsing, keeping your screen clean.

# Searching for broadcast channels has now become more comprehensive in finding channels by relying on a new fuzzy logic search principle. Also, you can now press the EPG button and continue browsing the app until the broadcast channels screen appears.

Complete Clarity for Canceled Matches

If a match is canceled or suspended, the word CAN will now clearly appear instead of showing a confusing 0-0 score as if the match had finished.

New Remote Control Shortcuts

I have updated the top menu to make navigation simpler. Press 0 to view lineups, number 8 is dedicated to the World Cup tournament, and 9 to jump directly to your custom leagues. I also organized the layout of the top menu so the last updated time, which is now on the right side, does not overlap with the SimplySports title.

Update (V6.3)
to the SimplySport Enigma2 plugin has been rolled out, delivering smoother performance, essential bug fixes, and new sports categories directly to your TV screen.

what is new in this release:

1. More Sports at Your Fingertips
The experience is going beyond soccer. Toggle between sports instantly from the Arena sport screen using your remote control:
Press 0 to view Soccer ️
Press 1 to view Basketball
Press 2 to view Volleyball
(Will expand other sports in the upcoming updates)
A handy shortcut guide has been added to the top-left header for quick reference.
2. Sport Mode Memory
There is no need to switch back and forth every time. The plugin now remembers the last-viewed sport even if the app is exited and returned to later.
Head-to-Head Overhaul
3. The parsing issue on the Head-to-Head page has been resolved. Historically played matches will now load all results, scores, and dates flawlessly under the team headers.
4. Full Arabic Translation Support
The entire Arena sport (ساحة الرياضة) and the new sport headers now feature native Arabic translations for a seamless browsing experience.
5. Speedy Smart Updates and Announcements
The update system is now more efficient. Quick updates and announcements can be delivered by downloading only the core code file to save bandwidth, or the full package can be provided when new images and assets are released.

Fixing other sports non appearance in the main screen such as Tennis, UFC, and other MMA sports.
