WISI to show network and media distribution solutions at ANGA COM

WISI Communications will showcase its latest technologies for broadband and media distribution at German trade fair ANGA COM 2026, with a focus on streaming, in‑house networks and hospitality systems.

The German technology provider plans to highlight solutions aimed at network operators, service providers and organisations in the hospitality and leisure sectors. Its streaming systems are designed to support high‑quality and efficient media delivery for business and consumer environments. In‑house distribution technologies will also be on display, covering antennas, multiswitches, amplifiers and subscriber components for a range of building network structures.

For the hospitality market, WISI will present central channel processing devices and systems for receiving, processing and distributing multimedia content in coaxial or IP‑based networks. These are used in hotels, hospitals, amusement parks, sports bars and on cruise ships. Another focus will be the NOVALINK aggregation platform, which bundles 1/10/25G interfaces for long‑distance transport in access networks and supports R‑PHY and R‑MACPHY devices, Ethernet gateways and mobile front‑ and backhaul scenarios.

According to WISI, its current portfolio reflects the industry’s shift from traditional reception technologies to digital and IP‑based media distribution. CEO Axel Sihn stresses that customers increasingly expect solutions that address complex network requirements. “Our customers expect solutions for their increasingly complex network requirements. 100 years of experience have given us the foundation to combine innovation with reliability, both today and in the future,” he said.

The company, founded in 1926 and now in its third generation of family leadership, celebrates its 100-year anniversary this year. Sihn describes the milestone as a continuation of WISI’s long‑standing role in the evolution of media transmission. “A century of WISI means a century of curiosity and the courage to embrace change,” he said.
