What has been developed and added:

• A new button has been added for a very important feature for satellite users: updating XML files for satellites and transponders.
• A dedicated XML management screen has been added, with support for:
Downloading and updating Satellite XML files
Terrestrial XML files
Cable XML files
• Two different sources are available, allowing the user to choose between them for downloading the latest XML files.
• When any source is selected, the screen will display information about the latest available update.
• After downloading the files to the computer, the user can:
Add, delete, or edit any satellite data
Add, delete, or edit any transponder easily
• After finishing the modifications, the files can be sent directly to the receiver from inside the program.

What’s new in this version:



FTP connection issues with OpenATV 8.0 images have been resolved by adding SFTP support for better stability and compatibility.

Successfully tested with the following images:

• OpenATV 8.0

• OpenPLi

• Merlin



Note:

Gemini image does not support SFTP by default because it does not include:

sftp-server



Therefore, continue using FTP with Gemini.



However, SFTP can be easily enabled on Gemini images.

Quick guide to enable SFTP on Dreambox devices running Gemini image:

Open Terminal / Telnet and execute the following command:

opkg install openssh-sftp-server 

After installing the package, SFTP will be enabled on Gemini, and the program will work with Gemini without any problems.

What’s new in this version:

New commands have been added to the right-click context menu, both in the channels table and inside bouquets:

• Copy Picon

• Paste Picon

• Copy Service ID

• Paste Service ID



How it works:

You can select a channel that already has a Picon and choose:



“Copy Picon”

Then move to another channel that does not have a Picon and choose:

“Paste Picon”

The Picon will be copied and automatically linked to the target channel name/service reference, and the icon will appear immediately after pasting without needing to restart the program or reload the list.

The process can also be repeated continuously:

• Copy a Picon from one channel

• Paste it to another channel

• Copy another Picon and paste it to a different channel

And so on, quickly and easily.

As for:



“Copy Service ID” and “Paste Service ID”

They work completely independently from the Picon system.

The Service ID is handled as the channel SID value, and when using “Paste Service ID”, the following will be updated for the target channel:

• SID (Service ID)

• Service Reference

This prevents conflicts between channel fields and internal data.

Usage:

• Select a channel and choose “Copy Service ID”

• Move to another channel and choose “Paste Service ID”



Note

However, I want to warn about using or copying the Service ID carelessly, as this may lead to channel conflicts or other problems.





Important Notes:

• The Picon system is completely independent from the Service ID system.

• Copying or pasting a Picon does not change the Service ID.

• Copying or pasting a Service ID does not affect the Picon.

• Both systems work independently and can be used repeatedly without any problems.

The execution speed of commands has also been improved, and the interface now refreshes immediately after any copy/paste operation.

What's New in This Version

������ Symbol Rate Tolerance Filter
During channel scanning, the Symbol Rate may not always be detected with its exact standard value. For example, a symbol rate of 27500 may appear as:

27497
27498
27499
27501
27502

Although these values differ slightly, they actually represent the same symbol rate.

To solve this issue, a Symbol Rate Tolerance Filter has been added. It automatically converts values that fall within a configurable tolerance range to the nearest approved standard symbol rate.

How it works

A new option has been added under General Settings:
Show approved symbol rates only
When this option is enabled, the program automatically converts any symbol rate within the configured tolerance range to its corresponding standard value.

Example: With a tolerance of ±5, the following values will automatically be converted to 27500:

27496
27497
27498
27499
27501
27504

Values outside the tolerance range, such as 27506, will remain unchanged unless the tolerance value is increased.
This feature can be enabled or disabled at any time from the settings, and its status is automatically saved in settings.ini.


Important: The Auto Reload option must be enabled; otherwise, the changes will not be reflected on the receiver.

������ Alternative Bouquet Numbering

A new Alternative Bouquet Numbering feature has been added, allowing each Bouquet to have its own independent channel numbering starting from 1, instead of using continuous numbering across all bouquets.

This feature is optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time through the Options menu, according to the user's preference.

������ Bouquet Copy, Cut & Paste Support

Full support has been added for the following bouquet operations:

Copy Bouquets
Cut Bouquets
Paste Bouquets
This makes bouquet organization and management much faster, easier, and more flexible while preserving their structure and order.

������ Data & Backup Folder Reorganization

The data folder, where channel and satellite files are stored, has been reorganized to provide a cleaner and more manageable directory structure.
The Backup folder has also been reorganized and improved, making backup files easier to access and restore.
In addition, the program now automatically creates a backup before every save or modification operation, helping prevent accidental data loss and allowing users to restore their previous files whenever necessary.

������ General Improvements

Updated language files.
Various code improvements and optimizations to enhance stability, performance, and the overall efficiency of the program.
