Update DiabloCam 2.3 Wireless by WIFI Netwerk

I heard on another forum that yoy can connect to your Diablo Cam 2.3 Wireless by your local WiFi Network router without the wireless kit from the Diablo Cam itself.

Does anybody know if that is possible so that you can update the Cam direct from your Computer instead of the CAS interface?

I don't think that it's possible IIRC the standard Wi-Fi is IEEE 802.11/a/b/g or n.
While the Diablo Wireless ver 2.2 or 2.3 usess the IEEE 802.15.4.2003 (ZigBee) standard.
I don't beleave that they are compatible with one another.

And Hardware-wise there ~aparently is little to NO DIFFERENCE~ between a Rev 2.2 or a Rev 2.3, save the additional Software (i.e. Firmware), for Conax @ 0.1°w and 16.0°E

Besides to build a Diablo Network you'd need not only the Base, but a second Wireless CAM as well....
