Ströer has become the exclusive advertising sales partner for Zattoo in Germany, expanding its connected TV (CTV) portfolio with access to the TV streaming provider’s addressable video inventory.

Under the agreement, advertisers working with Ströer will gain exclusive access to advertising inventory on Zattoo across smart TVs, PCs, streaming devices, smartphones and tablets. The partnership strengthens Ströer’s position in the growing connected TV and streaming advertising market.

“With Zattoo, we are expanding our portfolio to include an established streaming service with high relevance in the connected TV market. CTV is rapidly becoming a central component of modern video strategies. With Zattoo, we are enabling our clients to access addressable TV inventory in an even more targeted manner within a data-driven, digital environment,” said Marc Schmitz, COO of Ströer.

According to Schmitz, the exclusive agreement supports Ströer’s goal of making television advertising more precise, efficient and measurable as viewing habits continue to shift towards streaming.

For Zattoo, the deal forms part of its strategy to grow advertising revenues in Germany. “Connected TV is increasingly becoming the central digital video channel. With Ströer, we are gaining a strong partner to further develop our advertising business in Germany in a targeted manner and to tap into the potential of our high-quality CTV inventory even more effectively,” added Tina Rodriguez, Acting CEO of Zattoo.

Klaus Nadler, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Zattoo, said: “We see our collaboration as a genuine strategic partnership. Ströer possesses extensive marketing expertise, a strong market presence and comprehensive experience in the digital video sector.”
