Switzerland: YouTube Premium on Sunrise

Sunrise customers in Switzerland can now subscribe to YouTube Premium via the Sunrise website, My Sunrise (customer portal or app), on the TV Box in the TV Shop and in Sunrise shops.

With its integration into the Sunrise Entertainment offering, YouTube Premium can now be managed via My Sunrise and invoiced on the Sunrise invoice.


At launch, existing customers benefit from an exclusive Sunrise Rewards offer: until July 21st, YouTube Premium is available for six months with a 50 per cent discount (CHF 8.45 (€9.16), thereafter CHF 16.90 per month) – with no minimum period and cancellable monthly.

YouTube Premium offers ad-free entertainment with millions of videos, songs and podcasts, and the option to download content and watch it offline. In addition, background streaming enables seamless listening and viewing even when the app is not actively in use. The service is available on all devices and offers video quality in Premium HD. The YouTube Premium subscription combines YouTube, YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Kids.
