Swisscom adds wedotv Movies to blue TV

Swiss telco Swisscom has added wedotv Movies to its blue TV platform, marking the expansion of wedotv’s distribution in Switzerland.

The Italian-language version of wedotv Movies is now available on blue TV, becoming accessible to Swiss viewers for the first time through the partnership. The launch is primarily aimed at audiences in the Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland.

According to the free streaming network operator, the addition to blue TV extends wedotv’s reach through one of Switzerland’s largest TV platforms and provides Swisscom customers with access to additional film, series and entertainment programming.

“The launch of wedotv Movies on blue TV is an important strategic step in expanding our distribution in Switzerland. Together with Swisscom, we are creating greater programme variety for viewers,” said Philipp Rotermund, Founder and CEO of wedotv. He added: “At the same time, we are increasing reach for advertisers and strengthening our presence on the big screen.”

wedotv Movies offers a catalogue of Italian and international films and television series, including classic titles, genre content and more recent productions. The channel forms part of wedotv’s FAST portfolio, which also includes wedotv Sports, wedotv Big Stories, wedotv True Stories and wedotv Amor.
