NDS rock solid over Dish legal costs




On May 26 we ran a story quoting Andre Kudelski stating that NDS would be paying “all legal costs…which amount to over $20m”. NDS – not for the first time – deny they’ll be paying the charges.

NDS, on May 27, again firmly and unequivocally stated again that: "There has been no order by the court for NDS to pay plaintiffs' legal fees. To say that NDS has been ordered to do so is incorrect. We do not think NDS is responsible for any of their legal fees. In fact, they may even be required to pay ours."

Sources close to NDS suggest that Mr Kudelski’s interview statements cannot change the legal position, which has not changed, and that no order was made by the court.
